VibeMood ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal data.

1. Information We Collect

When you use VibeMood, we collect the following information:

• Wallet Address — Your Solana public key, used as your unique identifier
• Username — The display name you choose when registering
• Profile Information — Avatar image, bio, and location if you choose to provide them
• Posts & Content — Photos, captions, and mood tags you publish
• Mood Data — Your daily mood selections and mood history
• Social Data — Followers, following lists, reactions, and comments
• Usage Data — Basic app usage patterns to improve the service

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

• Private keys or seed phrases — ever
• Financial information or wallet balances
• Email addresses (unless you contact us directly)
• Phone numbers
• Precise device location (only the location you manually enter in your profile)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the VibeMood service
• Display your profile, posts, and social connections to other users
• Calculate and display the Global Atmosphere feature
• Moderate content to maintain a safe community
• Improve and develop new features for the app
• Respond to support requests or inquiries

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore and Storage), which provides enterprise-grade security. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Profile images and post photos are stored in Firebase Storage. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We may share data with:

• Firebase / Google — For data storage and infrastructure
• Anthropic — Comment text is processed by Claude AI for content moderation. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing
• Law enforcement — If required by applicable law or valid legal process

6. Public Information

By default, the following information is visible to all VibeMood users:

• Your username and wallet address (truncated)
• Your profile avatar and bio
• Your posts and their mood tags
• Your follower and following counts
• Your current mood

7. Content Moderation

To maintain a safe community, comment text is processed by Claude AI (Anthropic) for content moderation. This processing happens in real-time and comments that violate our community guidelines are blocked before being published. Comment text sent for moderation is not stored by Anthropic beyond what is necessary for processing.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Object to processing of your personal data

10. Children's Privacy

VibeMood is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Your continued use of VibeMood after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
